Verry Kerry Presents: Kikora Street Children Project

The project was born thanks to the founder's (Giorgia) passion for Africa & Kenya in particular.

Children are hosted for some months in a rehabilitation centre where they are supported by a trained staff through counselling sessions, non-formal education and other activities. At the same time the families of these children are addressed through spiritual formation and economic support, both carried on by trained personnel.

Kikora's idea of cooperation is to foster local development and solve the deep causes of the problem intervening sustainably and long lasting. To achieve this the community needs to be involved and participative, becoming the real protagonist of the project!

Building a solid social capital among the community members is one of the most efficient tools to enable them to take care of vulnerable children and families within the community.

Verry Kerry is proud to support Kikora in diferent ways and plans to extend the partnership in the coming months. We'll keep you posted soon with some exciting news. In the meantime if you wish to know more about Kikora head to their website kikoramaralal.org
